Overview
The Quba Walking Trail is a pedestrian avenue of about 3 km connecting the Prophet’s Mosque with Masjid Quba in the south of Madinah, according to the Madinah visitor authority.
Historical connection
Sahih al-Bukhari records that the Prophet ﷺ used to go to Quba every Saturday, walking or riding (Sahih al-Bukhari 1193). The walkway allows visitors to make this journey on foot today.
Today
The trail has been developed with shaded walkways, landscaping, shops and cafés, and hosts seasonal activities.

Best walked early in the morning or in the evening, especially in summer. Carry water. Allow about 40–60 minutes one way at a comfortable pace.
